Single Disclosed Sale Anchors Otherwise Opaque Bernardston Deed Activity
Bernardston recorded 11 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only one deed disclosed a sale price: 20 Cross St., which sold for $385,000 on Aug. 28 from seller Bradley C. Curtis to buyers Terrell Owen Hicks and Brooke Cochran. The remaining 10 transactions, including sales on South Street, River Road/River Street, Dewey Street and Fox Hill Road, did not list consideration amounts. Several transactions involved banks or credit unions as buyers or sellers, and one deed reflected a trust transfer. With price data available for just one of 11 sales, the deed record offers limited visibility into overall market pricing this period.
