Eleven Bernardston Property Transfers Recorded, Most Without Disclosed Sale Prices
Eleven property transfers were recorded in Bernardston between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only two disclosed a sale price: $232,750 for 190 River Road and $500,000 for 4 Brattleboro Road, the period's top sale, sold by Edwin C. and Matthew C. Gray to Farm Credit East ACA. The median of the two disclosed prices was $366,375. Five of the 11 transfers involved bank or government sellers, including Greenfield Savings Bank, Greenfield Cooperative Bank and HUD, and two were transfers within the same family. With most sales lacking disclosed prices, the data offers limited grounds for judging overall market tone this period.
