Bernardston Records 14 Property Deeds in July, Led by $300,000 South Street Sale
Bernardston recorded 14 property deeds between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only two listed a sale price: $300,000 for 12 South St. (seller McKenzie Property Management Inc., buyer Greenfield Savings Bank) and $42,500 for 631 Fox Hill Rd. (seller Claudia Vearling, buyer Kristie M. Timberlake), giving a disclosed-price range of $42,500 to $300,000 and a median of $171,250. Fox Hill Road and Bald Mountain Road each saw three recorded transfers, the most of any street. Greenfield Savings Bank appeared as a party in four of the 14 deeds. With pricing disclosed in only 2 of 14 transactions, the data offers limited insight into the town's overall home values this period.
