Bernardston records 14 deeds in late July as most sale prices go undisclosed
Bernardston recorded 14 property deeds between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only four disclosed a sale price, ranging from $42,500 to $500,000 with a median of $442,500 among those four. The period's top transactions were tied sales of $500,000 each for 372 Eden Trl and 4 Brattleboro Rd, both involving financial institutions as buyers. Fox Hill Road and Northfield Road each saw two recorded transfers. With 10 of 14 deeds omitting price data and several transactions involving banks or mortgage servicers as grantor or grantee, the available figures offer only a partial picture of local market pricing this period.
